Gearing up for Twilight

With all the vampire fever and the next Twilight movies coming out (I don't know what it's called) I'm shocked and appalled that people have forgotten the classics like...



kidding, but to be fair I haven't seen it yet. However, I think it's a fair assumption that this movie will be terrible based on the following...

1. Eddie Murphy has a mullet...you can see it clearly in the picture.
1A. How does Eddie Murphy have a mullet?
2. Eddie Murphy wrote the screenplay.
3. Eddie Murphy is in it.
4. Eddie Murphy plays multiple characters
5. This is pre-Golden Globe for Mr. Murphy. However, pre and post are virtually indistinguishable. i.e. Norbit.

Those are just some reasons that come to mind. The only leg this movie really has to stand on is that it's directed by Wes Craven. In light of that, shame on you Wes Craven.

In closing, for most of my Eddie Murphy hating life, which started around Nutty Professor and steadily increased with each sequel and weighs as much as all his characters combined, I have successfully neglected to see this movie. But I'm at a crossroads, what do I hate more, Twilight or Eddie Murphy? This movie will prove to be the tiebreaker.
